These terms govern the purchase and use of Koalab Quote, the quote plugin for WooCommerce, and of this site (quote.koalab.tech). Koalab Sync is a different product, with its own terms at koalab.tech/terms. If this translation and the Spanish version differ, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Who sells Koalab Quote

2. What Koalab Quote is
Koalab Quote is a WordPress and WooCommerce plugin installed on your own store. Your team builds quotes from the store and sends them as a PDF or image; with a paid plan, your customer can also open them from a private link, accept them online and turn them into an order.
There is a free version and paid plans (Pro and Agency). Each plan's features, number of sites and limits (for example, brands and custom templates per site) are those published in the pricing table on this site on the day of purchase.
Requirements: WordPress 6.4 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
3. Purchase, prices and invoices
- Purchases are made through Freemius, our reseller and merchant of record. Freemius processes the payment (card or PayPal), delivers the license and issues the invoice for each charge. By paying you also accept the conditions Freemius shows in its checkout.
- Prices are in US dollars (USD). Depending on your country, Freemius may add the applicable taxes; the total is always shown before you pay.
- The invoice is issued by Freemius, a foreign supplier, for a digital product. It is not a local electronic invoice (such as a DIAN invoice, a CFDI or an NF-e). You download it from your Freemius account, where you can also add your company's name and tax ID.
- We never receive or store your card details.
4. License
- Each license activates on the number of sites in its plan: 1 site, 5 sites, or unlimited sites on Agency. You can deactivate it on one site and activate it on another.
- Koalab Quote's code is distributed under the GPLv2 or later license, like WordPress. The license key is what gives access to the paid features, updates and support while the license is active.
- The key belongs to the person who bought it: do not share, publish or resell it. If a key is used beyond what its plan allows, we may deactivate it.
5. Renewal and expiry
- Yearly license: renews automatically every year, on the same date and with the same payment method, until you cancel it. Cancel at any time from your Freemius account or by writing to us; it stays active until the end of the paid period.
- If a yearly license expires: the paid features are turned off and the plugin keeps working as the free version. Your saved quotes are not deleted. When you renew, everything is available again.
- Lifetime license: one payment, no renewals, with its plan's features, updates and support for as long as Koalab Quote is developed.
- If we change plan prices, your renewal price does not change without at least 30 days' notice.
- You can upgrade at any time from your account or from the plugin; Freemius calculates the difference.
6. Refunds
If Koalab Quote is not right for you, we refund the full amount of a purchase or a renewal if you ask within 14 days of the charge, no questions asked. Write to hola@koalab.tech from the purchase email; Freemius refunds the same payment method and the license is deactivated.
After that period we do not refund a period already charged, unless the law of your country says otherwise. If you buy as a consumer in Colombia, this does not limit your right of withdrawal under the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011).
7. Support
While your paid license is active we help you by email (support@koalab.tech) and WhatsApp, on Colombian business days, with installing, configuring and errors in the plugin. Support does not include custom development, custom CSS or how third-party themes or plugins work, although we will try to point you in the right direction. The free version is supported in the WordPress.org forum once it is published there.
8. Your customers' data
Koalab Quote runs inside your WordPress: quotes, your customers' details and orders are stored in your site's database, and PDFs and images are generated in the browser of whoever exports them. Koalab has no access to that information. Towards your customers, you are the controller of that data and are responsible for telling them how you use it.
The plugin only sends information to Freemius if the site administrator allows it on the activation screen; what is sent and why is explained in the Privacy policy.
9. Warranty and liability
- We test every version before publishing it, but Koalab Quote is provided "as is", with no guarantee that it works with every theme, plugin or setup. Back up your site before installing or updating any plugin.
- Check each quote before sending it: prices, discounts and taxes come from your store's settings and what your team types.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Koalab Quote is limited to what you paid for your license in the previous 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect damages such as lost sales, data or reputation.
- Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you that cannot be waived.
10. Brand and content
The Koalab Quote name, the logo and the content of this site belong to Koalab. The GPL covers the plugin's code, not the use of the brand: you may not distribute a modified version under the Koalab Quote name or logo.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, with its date. If a change materially affects your license, we will email you before it applies.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Medellín, Colombia, without prejudice to the rights your country's law gives you as a consumer.
